Girl Meets World is one of the most highly-anticipated sitcoms in years.
And while the show won't premiere until June 27, the Disney Channel has already released its theme song performed by stars Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter.
The first Girl Meets World previews revealed that Rowan plays Riley Matthews and Sabrina is her best friend Maya.
Both girls have a handful of film roles to their credit, but their parts in GMW will be their first starring roles, and the fact that the two 12-year-olds perform the show's theme song has led many to believe that Disney is grooming a new generation of tween pop stars.
But hopefully Rowan and Sabrina won't grow up quite as quickly as Miley and Britney did.
In addition so Sabrina as her best friend, producers have cast Peyton Meyer as Riley's love interest.
No word on whether Peyton is also a singing-acting double threat.
Girl Meets World, of course, is enjoying far more buzz than the the usual Disney Channel tween-targeted sitcom because it's a spin-off of the beloved 90s series Boy Meets World.
The network is said to be hoping that kids will tune in for the adventures of Riley and her friends, while parents will watch for the nostalgic pleasure of watching Cory and Topanga Matthews raise children of their own.
