Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Benzino says AirTran Airways racially profiled him, triggering Benzino's epic racist tirade posted to the web earlier this week.
He says AirTrain already accepted blame for this, too, and as a gesture of its remorse, gave him two vouchers for $200! Hey, it's the thought that counts.
Benzino's f-bomb-laced outburst came after a flight attendant racially profiled him, the reality star alleges, on a flight Tuesday from Vegas to Atlanta.
According to Benzino, he and his wife were the last people to board, and as soon as they took their First Class seats, an attendant demanded to see tickets.
Benzino found this insulting, believing he was only asked to produce his tickets because he's a man of color sitting in First Class, and that's why he flipped.
Admitting he flew off the handle, Benzino tells TMZ, "They basically were talking to me very disrespectful and came at me inappropriate."
"That’s why I was so upset about the situation. I am not the one to scream the race card unless I truly believe I am being treated not equal."
An airline rep later apologized, he says, telling him the airline was in the wrong, and then gave him and his wife the vouchers as a gesture of remorse.
Another fun fact: Benzino was recently shot by one of his own family members.
Okay, that's less fun ... just watch Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta online. That's fun.
