The Real Housewives of New York City Season 6 Episode 4 Recap: Hamptons Hollering

Tuesday night's The Real Housewives of New York City Season 6 Episode 4 saw the gang head off to the Hamptons for some drama-free rest and relaxation.

Yeah, right.

Most of us commoners know that if you're in the midst of a huge beef with someone, perhaps the best idea is not to go get drunk with them in the Hamptons.

Then again, most of us commoners aren't on reality shows, and no one would watch The Real Housewives of New York City online if we were. So there.

On The Real Housewives of New York City Season 6 Episode 4, Sonja Morgan does not actually know what burlesque is, but we'll forgive her that.

Whether others are as forgiving after the confrontation that went down at Lu's is another story altogether. And it's the same old story, folks: BookGate.

This non-controversy is again the subject of every conversation under the sun, despite Carole trying to give literary rival Aviva plenty of space at first.

That only gets you so far when others start meddling, and sure enough, Heather stirred up some trouble, going after Aviva with a game of who said what.

Even if you're on Team Heather and Team Carole, watching Heather in action can be painful when you know she's just trying to goad her adversaries.

There's only so much Aviva and Sonja can stand when they're the dead horse being beaten senseless, and before long, the whole thing is so awkward.

Needless to say, Sonja's sojourn to the Hamptons was anything but restful ... but see our previous point. Would you tune in every week if it weren't?

Didn't think so.
