Palcohol: A New Way to Get Wasted!

by at .  Updated at . Comments

No one mention this to Lindsay Lohan, but someone has come out with a more efficient way to get wasted.

It's called Palcohol and it's exactly what it sounds like: powdered alcohol.

The federal government approved the item this week, although there remains a discrepancy over just how much Palcohol can be sold at once.

Therefore, it's not available to consumers... yet.

But if the paperwork does eventually get sorted out, we’re talking about “a Margarita on a counter,” as described by the official Palcohol website.

Available as a vodka and rum mix - and also as a cosmopolitan, a mojito, a margarita and a lemon drop - Palcohol can be added to any food or drink in order to give it an extra kick.

Can one snort it?

That's the dangerous question that is likely holding up total approval by the FDA and The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.

However, Palcohol people strongly advise against this method of ingestion and says it has taken certain steps to make snorting unappealing to consumers.

"We've added volume to the powder so it would take more than a half of a cup of powder to get the equivalent of one drink up your nose," the site reads. "You would feel a lot of pain for very little gain. Just use it the right way."

Seriously, people. No one tells Lindsay about this.
