Olivia Wilde is featured in the May issue of Lucky.
And the actress makes it very clear in an interview with the magazine: she feels oh so very lucky to be pregnant!
Describing her baby bump as a “badge of pride,” Wilde joked with the publication and said of her state of mind (and chest) these days:
"I’m a woman! Look at me making a human! I am a goddess! I’m like, double D, hello! I’ve never been in this section of the bra store! I’ve been flat-chested my whole life, so it’s a wonderful new world."
Wilde is engaged to Jason Sudeikis, but says she doesn't feel "pressured to [tie the knot] before we have the baby," adding:
"I’m such a believer in marriage and I think of him as my husband anyway. I get that it’s not peaches and cream every day."
The gorgeous star has kept a jovial attitude toward her increased weight for awhile now, joking on Twitter in February that "I’ve looked like this after Mexican food but this time it’s a BABY" and declaring of her size: Holy F-ck!
Among other tidbits discussed by Wilde in this Q&A with Lucky:
Her New Attitude: "Pregnancy does shed away all of the bullsh-t. It gives you more empathy because you look at everyone and you think, You were a baby! Pregnancy brings you into this sort of commune - you feel connected to women in a way that you never have."
Choosing Roles: "Playing the ideal girl is much harder for me than the basket-case mess. Now when I look at roles, if it says, ‘In walks in the femme fatale, the epitome of perfection and desire,’ I say, ‘No, that’s not going to work.’ I’m not interested unless she turns out to be psychotic and murders everyone in the room. I’d rather be Ursula than the Little Mermaid."
Her Son: "He’s moving around in there and no one else can tell - it’s a little secret friendship."
