Back in August of 2013, Lady Gaga accused Perez Hilton of stalking her and the epic war of words that followed went on for weeks.
After things really got ugly on Twitter, Gaga ordered her Little Monsters to stand down and it seemed like the beef had finally been squashed.
When you’re dealing with egos the size of Perez and Gaga’s, however, no offense is ever really forgotten.
Gaga’s G.U.Y. single isn’t performing as well as expected and Perez has been teasing the singer about it with snarky tweets pointing out that the song has already dropped from the iTunes top 200. (Of course, as Gaga fans have pointed the track hasn’t even been released to radio stations yet.)
To her credit, Gaga is doing her best to stay out of the feud, but Perez is doing all he can to pull her back in:
Yup, Perez can’t even let the Mother Monster enjoy a nostalgic moment with her Twitter followers without putting in his two cents.
Believe it or not, there was a time when these were close friends. Now, Perez has clearly switched his allegiance to Team Britney.
We hope for her sake and ours Gaga continues to ignore this desperate blogger. Trolls feed on attention.
