The Mentalist Season 6 Episode 13: Going Underground

by at .  Updated at . Comments

Sunday's The Mentalist Season 6 Episode 13 saw our beloved Patrick Jane asking for  "Black Helicopters" and tanks. What does that mean, exactly?

When Edith, a U.S. attorney, turns up dead in Mexico, Jane figures out that she was murdered in Texas and transported through an underground tunnel.

In pursuit of justice, Jane leaves Fischer in Texas after he gets a high-stakes invite to a citizens compound with a connection to Edith. The plot thickens.

Jane discerns that Edith recognized a fugitive who had been on the run for 27 years. When Edith warned her to turn herself in, she shot and killed her.

Meanwhile, Simon Baker's beloved crime-solving character gives his team presents that they've wanted since their childhood. What were those items?

  • Cho gets Mexican jumping beans
  • Abbott gets Voltron
  • Wiley gets Tamagachi
  • Fischer gets a magic wand

Elsewhere, Jane told Rigsby and Van Pelt to contact La Roche for help on the CBI investigation; Rigsby and La Roche went to search an empty warehouse.

In the line of duty, La Roche hit a trip wire and was shot and killed.
