Katharine McPhee and Nick Cokas: Reconciling After Michael Morris Hookup!

by at .  Updated at . Comments

Katharine McPhee and Nick Cokas are reportedly reconciling after she kicked up a major scandal last fall by hooking up with her also-married Smash director.

The singer-actress, 29, was photographed making out with Michael Morris in NYC last fall, despite the fact that both were married to other people.

In the aftermath, it was revealed that American Idol runner-up McPhee and husband Nick Cokas, 47, had been separated and "living apart" for months.

Nevertheless, she was "deeply embarrassed" by the scandal.

Flash forward to March 10: Katharine McPhee and Cokas were photographed smiling, chatting and walking their three dogs together in Los Angeles.

The reunion is more than just exes being amicable, a source close to McPhee says. "Katharine and Nick are working on their marriage," the insider says.

The couple wed in 2008 and has no children together.

Director Morris, meanwhile, has been married to In Plain Sight actress Mary McCormack for over 10 years, and they share three young kids together.

Although McCormack, 45, initially kicked Morris out of their L.A. home after the McPhee scandal broke, that couple has reportedly reconciled as well.

All's well that ends well?
