Family Calls 911 Over Ferocious Feline: He's Charging Us!

by at . Comments

We've heard of a horny woman calling 911 because she wants to have sex with an officer.

And we've heard of a kid calling 911 for help with his math homework.

But this is a first: A family in Portland called the authorities on Sunday night because it was under attack from its 22-pound cat.

According to Lee Palmer, the feline scratched his seven-month old son and was "sent over the edge" when Lee kicked him "in the rear" as a punishment.

"He's trying to attack us, he's very hostile. He's at our door; he's charging us," Palmer says in the 911 call, which was placed with him, his wife and their baby locked in the bedroom.

Police eventually arrived on the scene and corralled the kitty, leaving the Palmers with a difficult decision:

Should they keep Lux or not?

"We are debating what to do," Palmer told The Oregonian after the ordeal. "We definitely want to keep [the cat] away from the baby and keep an eye on his behavior. I swear I have never seen anything like it."

It's easy to scoff, but have you seen this cat attack this woman? Those animals can be vicious!

And we've seen far worse abuses of 911 over the years:
