Jessica Simpson, Eric Johnson Getting Married in 2014

by at . Comments

Jessica Simpson is finally getting married in 2014. She and Eric Johnson have been engaged to fiance Eric Johnson for three years, but two things got in the way.

Those would be the couple's children, daughter Maxwell Drew, 19 months, and son Ace Knute, 6 months. With cute distractions out of the way, it's wedding time!

“The new year will definitely bring on the wedding bells, which is exciting … I think it’s about time,” she says in new outtakes from a Weight Watchers ad.

The future Mrs. Eric Johnson has been working hard to lose weight since welcoming Ace and is determined to fit into her wedding gown. That's extra motivation.

“Knowing I have the wedding coming up is definitely incentive to stay on Weight Watchers, keep counting my points and stay in the gym," she explains.

"I mean, when you see my dress, you’ll know.”

Still, Jess isn't just focused on her nuptials.

“I’m just trying to feel good in a pair of jeans and T-shirt,” she says. “I can’t wait to feel comfortable in my skin and know that I’m back to the person I’ve been before."

"I know this time I’m going to be so much stronger and so much more empowered, because I really earned it and I really got here, and took the steps to get here.”

Jessica Simpson Quotes

They're just the cutest couple in the world. They are adorable. Anybody would wish to be them and you can only wish them well. Just being around them inspires love and everything I sing about.

It’s fun to do a small film that might be released to DVD not because it’s a horrible film, but because it’s an independent film. For people to say Employee of the Month was a flop is ludicrous. We made the money back–that’s not a flop. For people to say The Dukes of Hazzard was a flop–it opened to $30 million! If these movies are flops, why would I still make them?
