Kanye West recently compared himself to a soldier in battle when he takes the stage.

Tila Tequila said Hitler was a misunderstood dreamer who had love for the shows.

But both celebrities now need to stand in line behind R. Kelly for Most Ridiculously Hilarious and Offensive Quote of the Week.

Speaking to Great Britian’s The Guardian, the artist first said he only feels sorry for “weak people,” adding:

“Mostly what I’ve come to find is that the weak people are the ones that are the haters.”

Okay, fair enough we suppose. But then Kelly brought up woman beater Chris Brown and dropped the absurd hammer.

“The ones that’s talking about Chris Brown, or R. Kelly, or anybody that’s successful? I feel sorry for them, not Chris Brown, because he’s obviously one strong individual to be able to do what he’s done,” Kelly said, explaining:

“He got knocked down a little bit and he climbed up. You know, that sounds like Ali to me. That sounds like Martin Luther King to me. That sounds like a lot of the greats that have walked this earth. It even sounds a little bit like Jesus to me.”

Just a little bit like Jesus, folks. Brown doesn’t remind Kelly entirely of Jesus because that would be ludicrous.

Brown is currently serving a court ordered 90-day live-in rehab stint and was arrested in 2009 on a felony assault charge after bludgeoning Rihanna.

R. Kelly, meanwhile, settled out of court in 1996 after he was accused of sex with a minor.

Do you see where the artist is coming from? Is Chris Brown akin to Jesus Christ?
