Noah Trailer: All Aboard the Ark!

by at .  Updated at . Comments

The first trailer for Noah has arrived.

Based on the Biblical tale that takes up four chapter in the book of Genesis, the film will feature Russell Crowe as the iconic title character, along with Anthony Hopkins as his grandfather, Methuselah.

Other big names set to appear will be Jennifer Connelly, Douglas Booth, Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, and Ray Winstone.

Directed by Darren Aronofsky, Noah will include some serious CGI use, considering producers had to essentially recreate the entire animal kingdom.

But no four-legged creatures are present in the preview. Check it out now:

Noah will be released on March 28, 2014.

Yes! I completely enjoyed this feature film form opening credits to final scenes. I had eagerly anticipated NOAH for about the entire almost year of pre-release promotion. Frankly, I did not expect a "retelling" of the actual fairly brief but engaging narrative in my beloved Torah. Torah was not compiled to be easily offered up in cinema ready shooting script.
All this I knew. I have studied & taught Hebrew & Bible studies for over 60 plus years. This rendering is what I would call a very well done Biblically inspired film. & as I have already shared, I cherished every minute of it. The main reason is that these are all good friends, acquaintances, mentors, teachers of acting & big screen story telling. This level of work is no way easy. I totally appreciate the ambition & work to lathe each character, formulate, shoot & edit each scene. of course my favorite seat is at my beloved blog spot of Cinemark, Merriam Kansas, of course. Thank you, all that brought us this film. good job by all. I may post some details latter. Thank you too, Gossip for this fun opportunity to share
