Following a rather eventful weekend in early November, Josh Brolin has checked into a rehab facility in Northern California.
The actor rear-ended a cab driver and got into a bar fight within a 48-hour span just a few weeks ago and now admits he requires professional assistance to deal with a couple major personal issues.
"He realized he needed help and is committed to his sobriety," an insider tells Us Weekly of Brolin's decision to enter rehab.
On Saturday, November 2, Brolin got into a wasted fistfight with an unidentified male patron at O'Brien's Irish Pub in Santa Monica. Although the two assailants did hug it all out in the end.
He was then caught on camera getting into a shouting match with a taxi driver after hitting him with his car at a Los Angeles Del Taco drive-thru.
Brolin told TMZ the next day that he was "completely done" drinking, but now understands the difficulty of sticking to that promise on his own.
We wish the actor the very best of luck.
