Very well done, Amanda Trusty.

In the following video, this woman tap-dances around to Katy Perry's "Roar," using it as a body images, empowering anthem in a routine that begins basically enough…

... But then becomes more message-filled when Amanda unknots her hair, removes her tutu and sweatshirt and reveals the words "cellulite," "fat" and "suck it in" on various parts of her body.

She then lets loose as she unsticks these terms. Watch now:

What was Amanda's motivation behind the piece of performance art?

"I think this video speaks a million words for my journey, and no more explanation is needed, other than explaining that burlesque is an art form where clothing is removed," Trusty blogs.

"So you will see skin. You will see all of my passion. And you will hear screams from over 200 people who have shared part of my journey with me, and have probably been on some version of it themselves."
