Miley Cyrus has plans to take over the world. But she may wanna put a shirt on first.
On the MTV special Miley: The Movement last night, Cyrus said the title doesn't just refer to a "record." No, this 20-year old is looking for a lot more:
"For me, a movement represents like taking over the world," Miley said, proceeding to post a photo of herself donning only a bra to Instagram later in the evening:
Elsewhere in the documentary, Cyrus gave props to Britney Spears (“She’s got so many of those moments that people will never forget.") and also dismissed any career on the big screen.
"I’m gonna do music for the rest of my life," she said.
And the next step in that musical journey begins October 8 when "Bangerz" goes on sale.
As for her seemingly radical change over the past few months and years? Her shift away from Hannah Montana and into a Twerker who grinds on Robin Thicke and who uses foam fingers in ways they are not intended?
“It’s not a transition," she insists. "I’m the same human. I’ve got the same heart I did five years ago.”
She does have larger breasts, though, which Miley has been quite open about showing off recently.
“We’re in 2013," Cyrus said, addressing her critics. "I live in America where we’re the land of the free, and I feel like if you can’t express yourself, you’re not very free.”
And, in conclusion, Miley wants to be free. She wants to show the world the big bad bitch she's been all along.
“Any time I do something, I want to remember this is what separates me from everybody else. There’s no other life for me but entertaining. I was born to become who I am right now.”
