It's all over for Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner, as the couple announced its long-rumored separation after 22 years of marriage Tuesday night.
So... what went wrong? Nothing major, according to sources, yet also everything, as her entire fame-seeking lifestyle seemed to drive them apart.
Insiders say Bruce Jenner yearns for a simpler life of golf and racing cars and was never comfortable in the spotlight. Kris Jenner? A little different.
He rented a house in Malibu in June for the summer, started spending a lot of time there... and then both sides simply agreed they were happier apart.
There is no animosity. We are united and committed to our family," Kris tells Us Weekly, adding that there are no plans to divorce.
"We ended a marriage, but that's not the end of our friendship. I will always love him, but we are longer a couple in that way."
You know what this means, fellas? Kris Jenner is now on the market. YIKES!
Bruce and Kris Jenner got married in 1991.
They are the parents of Kendall Jenner, 17, and Kylie Jenner, 16; while Kris, of course, is the mother of Kourtney, Khloe, Robert and Kim Kardashian.
Bruce also has four children from his two previous marriages.
"We are happier this way," Kris concludes.
And, most importantly of all, the separation will NOT put Keeping Up with the Kardashians in jeopardy. It will simply be used instead as Season 9 storyline fodder.
