Things may not be as contentious as they were at times in the past, but they certainly aren't getting better between former spouses Jon and Kate Gosselin.
The father of eight and former reality star opens up about his ex-wife in an interview with Oprah Winfrey for her "Where Are They Now?" special airing Sunday:
"I wish her the best in all that she does, but [we're] just moving in totally two different directions, just totally not on the same page at all about anything."
They are technically co-parenting their enormous brood, but communication is minimal, Jon Gosselin says, and it's not healthy for the their offspring.
"At this point, there's no cooperation, there's nothing," says Gosselin, who's living in a cabin in Pennsylvania and waiting tables to make ends meet.
"There's two different totally parenting styles, two different totally everythings. Which is a shame, because it affects me, but it really affects my children."
If there was a detente, it's been breached in the last few months.
Jon made headlines when he fired a warning shot at a photographer who trespassed onto his wooded property, and Kate is suing him for defamation.
Kate Gosselin has been struggling, too, but at this point, neither is making things easier for the other, and they say little more than absolutely necessary.
"I don't really have a relationship with Kate," Jon reiterates.
"It's more texting, custodial stuff ... I don't really know anything that goes on in Kate's house, and she really doesn't know what goes on in my house."
Here's another clip of Jon talking about his life these days:
