Later this week, the first Captain America: The Winter Soldier trailer will hit iTunes.
But in anticipation of this event, Marvel has come out with the initial official poster for the sequel, giving fans a nice view of Chris Evans and his character's iconic shield.
The film will focus on the Captain living in modern times, as he teams up with Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow Anthony Mackie's The Falcon, all in the name of taking out a villain named The Winter Soldier.
So, what can we take away from this promotional art?
There's a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier in the background and also a S.H.I.E.L.D. logo under our hero's feet. Might this mean he gets involved with the secret spy organization and Agent Coulson?
That's also a pretty clear view of Washington, D.C., so we now know where the blockbuster will be set.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens on April 4, 2014. Analyze the poster more for yourself and also check out the new Anchorman 2 trailer.
