Sandra Bullock may have been blindsided by Jesse James' rampant infidelity, but she says she's come out of it as well as she possibly could have.
In an interview in the October issue of Vogue, the 49-year-old star briefly talks about her ill-fated five-year marriage, if only to say she's moved on.
"We're all where we're supposed to be," Bullock tells Vogue. "I am exactly where I want to be now. You can't go backward. I'm not going backward."
"I'm grateful that I'm here, blessed to have what I have."
Shortly after she won her Best Actress Oscar for The Blind Side in 2010, news surfaced that her husband was cheating on her with Michelle McGee.
A month later, Bullock filed for divorce.
At the same time, she adopted her three-month-old son, Louis. Despite that tumultuous period, the beauty says she's definitely in a better place now.
"I am so lucky to be sitting where I am sitting," she says.
The thespian is next set to star in Alfonso Cuaron's space thriller, Gravity, for which she's garnering critical acclaim playing a NASA astronaut stranded in orbit.
