Robert Pattinson has opened up to yet another international publication.

A few days after lamenting the lack of his six pack to Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, the actress has spoken to Australian’s Sunday Style and chalked up his enormous fame to… pure luck?!?

“I just didn’t expect any of this and I didn’t ask for it,” the actor says of his A-lister status. “It was literally all luck. I just stumbled from job to job.”

That’s not really accurate, but at least he looked mighty handsome doing so, as Pattinson’s Dior ads prove.

What did he sign up for that campaign?

“I’m trying to get out of being perceived as really young and I think doing [Dior] helps along those lines,” Ron tells the magazine. “I’m 27 now and I can feel people looking at me differently.

“It’s a weird year. With Twilight ending and other films I’ve done, like Cosmopolis, I suddenly feel like I’m being treated like an actual actor.”

But despite his acclaim, Pattinson still struggles with self-image issues.

Saying he still feels a lot of “anxiety” about walking a red carpet, Pattinson mentions “body dysmorphia” and wonders:

“I suppose it’s because of these tremendous insecurities that I never found a way to become egotistical. I don’t have a six-pack and I hate going to the gym. I’ve been like that my whole life. I never want to take my shirt off. I’d prefer to get drunk.”

HA! We love it.

Finally, while Pattinson never mentions Kristen Stewart by name, he does say the following about how he treats and reacts to others in general:

“I judge people on their actions. I don’t really care if it’s wrong or right, I give them the benefit of the doubt. If they do something I can’t be bothered to deal with, I just cut them out.”
