Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" may be the song of the summer, but a parody called "Defined Lines" gives it a run for its money - and turns the tables on the taboo track.

An Auckland University student group, the Law Revue Girls, created "Defined Lines" in response to the criticism to the song, which some say is decidedly sexist.

A 96-year-old man from Peoria, Illinois, who entered a song-writing contest with an ode to his late wife of 73 years has made the Top 10 on iTunes.

Fred Stobaugh says the lyrics - written and submitted by hand - for “Oh Sweet Lorraine” just came to him one night about six weeks after his wife passed.

Kim Kardashian has dyed her hair blonde, which raises two questions:

"She wanted a big change," the star's hairdresser, George Papanikolas, tells Us Weekly of the light locks. "It was Kim's idea to go blonde, but everyone around her had some influence including myself."

Fifty Shades of Grey fans' petition to replace Charlie Hunnam with Matt Bomer as lead character Christian Grey is flattering, the latter said in an interview.

"I'm so grateful for all the fans and touched," he tells Entertainment Tonight, however, "I'm looking forward to seeing the movie with Charlie and Dakota."
