Take this, Justin Bieber.
Up yours, Miley Cyrus.
We're very sorry, Ariana Grande.
One Direction tops Billboard.com's 2013 edition of 21 Under 21, which lists music's most powerful young artists on a yearly basis.
Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson are ranked number-one due to their recent musical achievements:
"Up All Night" dominated the charts in 35 countries and the group became the only U.K. band in history to have its first two albums debut at number-one on the Billboard 200 chart.
Moreover, 1D placed six songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart over the past 10 months alone, more than any other group in 2013.; they've also found big screen success with their 3D concert film grossing more than $62 million to date.
Apparently these feats beat out Miley Twerking and Justin taking his shirt off a lot.
Bieber and Cyrus did finish number-two and number-three on the list, respectively, however, with Grande fourth and Earl Sweatshirt fifth.
