In a new lawsuit, rapper Lupe Fiasco is accused of helping hoard millions from a known drug lord's estranged wife during their ongoing divorce proceedings.
Fiasco is being sued by the wife of convicted drug kingpin Charles Patton, who's serving a 44-year prison sentence for running a huge heroin ring.
Patton's wife apparently believes Lupe Fiasco conspired with him to stash $9 million in various bank accounts to keep it from her during their divorce.
The wife thinks she's uncovered the money trail and that it goes through Lupe, and has filed legal papers, suing to get what she claims is rightfully hers.
Lupe's lawyer denies the claim, saying the allegations are "baseless and will be proven false at trial ... there are no secret accounts and no illicit instructions."
