It was a frightening as it was arousing:
Yes, Alexander Skarsgard went full frontal on the True Blood Season 6 finale, but his character also went up in flames.
Will we ever see Eric Northman on this HBO series again?!?
Simply put, based on an interview with showrunner Brian Buckner, YES.
"I can tell you that Alexander Skarsgard is going to be a part of the next season of True Blood," Buckner tells TV Line. "He will be a series regular."
The executive producer would not go into detail regarding just how this vampire will survive, but it's very likely Pam will come to his rescue.
As for other True Blood Season 7 details:
- There will be a reset of sorts for Bill, as the character seeks forgiveness.
- Alcide and Sookie will very much be together next summer, as the relationship shows "growth" for the latter.
- The finale skipped ahead six months in order to shake up the structure.
"We will obviously pick up some of the pieces and explain how certain things happened. But what I think some people found jarring, to me was really refreshing. It was that: The world has changed, this virus has mutated, and this is the way the world is going to look now. Meanwhile, life beats on in this small town."
