Everyone wants to visit the Hamptons this time of year.
Some guests are more welcome than others, however.
A man was arrested for taking an uninvited vacation in Jennifer Lopez's pool house in the Hamptons, where he allegedly crashed for a full week.
Workers were called to her home on Long Island regarding a suspicious male seen on the property earlier this month. It turned out he was squatting.
John M. Dubis, a 49-year-old resident of Rhode Island, was found to have taken up residence in the star's pool house for the last week or more.
Unbeknownst to J. Lo or anyone else.
Dubis has been charged with two felonies (burglary, criminal contempt) and two misdemeanors (stalking and possession of burglar tools).
He pleaded not guilty in Southampton Town Court. In lieu of posting $100,000 bail, he was remanded into custody and taken to Suffolk County Jail.
Fortunately, Lopez was not home at the time of the intrusion. The newly-returned American Idol judge did, however, have an order of protection against Dubis.
Lopez, 44, bought the Water Mill mansion in May for a reported $9.99 million. The high-end property was listed with a "privacy guaranteed" promise.
Maybe she needed a separate stalker/squatter clause?
