Famke Janssen received a disturbing present in her NYC apartment last weekend. A home invasion had taken place, and you won't believe what was left behind.
The 47-year-old X-Men actress alerted police to a burglary after she came home and found a children's book, The Lonely Doll, on a shelf by her bed.
It's not hers. The book tells the story of a doll who sets off looking for playmates before later befriending two bears, who promise to always stay by her side.
The star claims no one else had access to her apartment. There were no signs of forced entry, authorities state, and nothing appears to have been stolen.
In 2005, sources say that the actress was stalked by a fan who repeatedly sent her photos and letters, and she filed a harassment report with police.
Meanwhile, filmmakers have yet to reveal whether or not The Wolverine actress will also be appearing in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Several of her X-Men costars - including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and Halle Berry - will be reprising their roles, but Janssen's status is unclear.
