Demetruis Glenn, a 16-year-old from Washington State, is giving the suspects arrested for the murder of Chris Lane a run for their senseless, sickening money.
Glenn has been arrested in the severe beating and death of Delbert Belton, an 88-year-old WWII veteran who was killed in the parking lot of a pool hall.
The teenager has been charged as an adult, according to reports.
Belton was pronounced dead Thursday after being allegedly beaten to death by Glenn and another teen, who is still at large, for unknown reasons.
Two male teens pummeled Belton outside the pool hall in what police say was a random attack, sure to draw disturbing parallels with the death of Lane.
Belton fought in the Battle of Okinawa, where he was shot in the leg but continued fighting. Affectionately called "Shorty," he enjoyed playing pool and working on cars.
Belton was Ted Denison's best friend of 23 years, Denison said.
"He was always there for me when I needed him," he added.
"I thought of him more as a dad than I did a friend really."
