Friends are worried about Angus T. Jones.
The Two and a Half Men star, who has been bumped to recurring status for Season 11, made headlines in November for referring to the sitcom as filth.
Now, the 19-year old is sporting a scruffy beard and disheveled appearance and one friend tells The New York Daily News that Jones "“seems to be suffering some kind of breakdown. He appears in denial about the whole saga. And he just doesn’t want to look like Jake anymore.”
The actor may also drop out of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, with whom he has been affiliated for years.
He sat alongside a representative from that organization during his infamous rant last year.
“He seems to be a shadow of himself and desperate to get away from the looks that made him a a global star and very wealthy,” a source tells the newspaper of Jones, adding:
“We are concerned about his health, too. Angus has lost a lot of weight over the summer and looks very skinny compared to how he looked on the show."
No word yet from anyone in Jones' camp in regard to this chatter, but let's all hope the teenager soon finds his way.
