Brace yourself, Rupert Murdoch. Things may soon be turning ugly.
The business mogul announced his divorce from Wendi Deng in June, with most observers assuming it would cost the News Corp. CEO a pretty penny or two billion.
The split was said to be quickly and amicable, at least ... until the N.Y. Times reported that Deng has hired a new attorney, meaning things could soon be taking a nasty turn.
Deng's new lawyer is named William Zabel and has penned a book titled "The Rich Die Richer - And You Can Too."
So it's not hard to imagine him salivating over the prospect of a client whose estranged husband is worth $11 billion.
Yes, readers. BILLION.
Murdoch and Deng have two children together and she may go after full custody of the kids, while a Fifth Avenue penthouse and a yacht shared by the couple are also likely targets.
It seems more and more as if this divorce could go the ugly way of Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy, just with a considerable amount more money involved.
