Frank Ocean has been forced to disappoint his fans Down Under.
The R&B sensation has canceled the sold-out leg of his Australian tour after suffering a vocal cord tear in Melbourne, Australia, Thursday evening.
"After last night's concert in Melbourne at Festival Hall, it was necessary to seek medical advice due to vocal issues Frank Ocean experienced during the show," read a statement.
"It has subsequently been confirmed that Frank has suffered a small tear to one of his vocal chords [sic] and has received medical advice that he must rest his voice."
"This makes the completion of his remaining Australian dates impossible."
Ocean had been scheduled to hit Sydney tonight and tomorrow and then headline the Splendour in the Grass festival.
For now, these Australian dates have not been rescheduled.
Earlier this week, meanwhile, Solange Knowles also canceled her international tour due to mental and physical stress.
