Stars may be speaking out against Leah Remini and her Scientology departure, but Scientology poster boy, Tom Cruise, is talking only one thing these days… his new film, Edge of Tomorrow

Originally titled, All You Need Is Kill, the film is based on the novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka of the same name but has since changed the title to Edge of Tomorrow. With the new name, we get a new Edge of Tomorrow poster!

I’ll give them credit – a poster of presumably the star without showing the star’s face? Bold move.

The premise of Edge of Tomorrow is not to unlike that of Bill Murray’s Groundhog Day, just with a lot more bullets and hellfire. Tom Cruise’s character, Lt. Col. Bill Cage, has found himself stuck in a time loop during a war against aliens.

Starring alongside Cruise and Blunt are Bill Paxton and Charlotte Riley.

That time loop is going to be repeating for quite awhile before we get to see it as Edge of Tomorrow is not scheduled to open until June 6th of 2014. Think Warner Bros. is banking hard on this one? All signs point to yes.

Speaking of studios banking on films, Johnny Depp is in talks for an Alice in Wonderland sequel!
