Brooks Forester on The Bachelorette Breakup: Instant Regret, Second-Guessing!

by at . Comments

As fans pore over The Bachelorette spoilers and try to make sense of what transpired two nights ago, one thing is very clear for Brooks Forester:

He regretted what played out on part one of the season finale. Immediately.

Brooks Forester and Desiree

Millions of viewers cringed as Brooks Forester crushed leading lady Desiree Hartsock's hopes and dreams Monday night, leading to anguish in Antigua.

Despite his desire to be madly in love with her, he just... wasn't. Awkward pauses followed. Tears ensued. Then more tears. Then they parted ways.

But is it over for good? Despite his actions Monday, don't write Brooks off yet.

He "does care deeply for Des. His feelings were so strong, which made his decision [to leave] difficult," says a source close to the star's #1 choice.

"It was so difficult, in fact, that in the aftermath of their breakup, Brooks started second-guessing himself. He regretted the choice almost immediately."

The uncertainty was evident even during the episode, it appeared.

"I'm surprised," he said, fighting back tears. "I didn't want to leave her. I wasn't expecting that. I didn't know what else to say, though. I just wanted to sit there."

Des, meanwhile, still has two guys in the running, but full-on admitted that the feelings she has for Chris Siegfried and Drew Kenney do not compare.

Hartsock, blindsided and heartbroken, lamented, "I just can't love them as much... And that's not what they deserve. Honestly, for me, it's over."

Is it, though, viewers? All we can do is direct you to The Bachelorette spoilers rundown (first sentence of this article) on THG and ask again:

How do you think The Bachelorette finale will play out?

The Bachelorette show can't think too highly of our intelligence if we are supposed to believe, Des can profess her undying love for Brooks
one week and accept a proposal from a different man the next. Poor
Chris, this will be the shortest engagement in TV history.

Gag me with a spoon. ~0:-p

brooks better be back for des

What is this show's preoccupation with Mormons?
Brooks ~ broke Desiree's heart. For now.
Jef ~ won Emily's hand. Broke her heart later.
Bentley (remember this jerk?) ~ Broke Ashley's heart. All the other guys hated him.
What's up with the bad Mormon guys on this show?

I swear if this Gay guy Brooks comes back & this idiot Desiree gets engaged to him, I for one, will NEVER watch these reality shows again. This has to be the worst one yet....AND WE ALL KNOW ITS DONE ONLY FOR THE RATINGS>>>>PLEASE>>>>GIVE ME A BREAK>>>NUF SAID.............
