Very, very sad news this week for Bruno Mars:

The musician's mother, Bernadette Hernandez, died suddenly of a brain aneurysm. She was only 55 years old.

A publicist for the singer's music label confirmed that the passing took place yesterday at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu. No other details are available at this time.

Hernandez was a hula dancer and a singer who immigrated from the Philippines. She helped support and nurture her son's music interest from a young age.

Our thoughts go out to Bruno and his loved ones.

You can now call him the sexiest dad in the world.

Sources have confirmed to Us Weekly that Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum welcomed their first child into the world on Thursday, with the actress giving birth to a girl in London.

The stars - who met on the set of Step Up in 2006 and got married in 2009 - announced they were expecting a baby in December.

Tatum will next be seen in White House Down and recently signed on for 21 Jump Street 2.

The Doctor will soon be out.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph this week, Matt Smith confirmed that he will soon exit Doctor Who, the iconic BBC series he joined as the titular hero in 2010.

Said the star, whose final appearance will be this year's Christmas special:

"Doctor Who has been the most brilliant experience for me as an actor and a bloke, and that largely is down to the cast, crew and fans of the show. I'm incredibly grateful to all the cast and crew who work tirelessly every day, to realize all the elements of the show and deliver Doctor Who to the audience."

Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young made it official yesterday: they are the First Couple of American Idol.

The former contestants exchanged vows in front of 250 friends and family members the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel in Los Angeles.

DeGarmo (a Season 3 runner-up) and Young (a contestant on Season 5) started dating while performing in a Broadway production of Hair in 2010.

They got engaged during the Season 11 live finale last May.

Said Young to People shortly after the ceremony: "Today was the best day of my life. Diana and I are in it forever. She's my best friend."

LeAnn Rimes has come cleaner than ever before in a new interview with People.

The singer - whose affair with now-husband Eddie Cibrian in 2009 colored her as the villain in a never-ending feud with Brandi Glanville - talked to the magazine from her home in Los Angeles recently and admitted:
