Lil Wayne will no longer be representing Mountain Dew.

PepsiCo cut ties with its popular pitchman Friday over his controversial lyric mentioning 1950s civil rights martyr Emmett Till in the crudest of ways.

Weezy Live

"Beat that pu--y up like Emmett Till," the 30-year-old rapped on Future's "Karate Chop" remix, which was later pulled due to the offensive reference.

Weezy recently apologized for (well, acknowledged) the controversy in a letter to Emmett Till's family, but that apparently did not go far enough.

PepsiCo released a statement asserting that Weezy's "offensive reference to a revered civil rights icon does not reflect the values of our brand."

Earlier this week, Jason Collins came out as gay, making him the first openly homosexual active player in a major American sport.

Now, he's told E! that "The biggest key is for everybody to be comfortable being themselves."

The Laker added "As his peers we have to support him, just rally around him."

Everyone knows that lamb is the best meat ever. That's a given, right?

Which is why this news is so, so heartbreaking: China's Ministry of Public Security has announced that it caught a group of meat traders selling rat, fox, and mink meat as lamb.

Gross.

Rat

China is famously riddled with food-related scandals, with the Ministry trying to project a proactive image in the wake of this latest one.

63 arrests were made in connection to the scandal.

Needless to say you should continue to use actual lamb in your lamb recipes. How would you feel if you found out that delicious Gyro you were eating was actually made of Ratatouille (the character, not the yummy side dish)?

What seemed like an innocent gesture had major consequences for the Columbus, Texas, High School Mighty Cardinals track team.

The Cardinals thought they won a 4x100 relay and a chance to move on to State, having bested the field by seven yards.

But Derrick Hayes' skyward point led to a disqualification.

The runner was gesturing in thanks to God, but the point counted as "excessive celebration," which is against the state scholastic rules.

Columbus High Runners

Many in the town, including the runner's father, called it a violation of religious freedom, but the school insists the gesture is not banned because it is religious, but because it is celebratory.

What do you think of the decision by the school, and the father's response?

Is banning a gesture thanking God a violation of religious freedom?

It's going to be such an unexpected season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians!

So E! promises in a new promo, and when you can make up whatever storylines you want, you can always keep people guessing as to what to expect!

Kim has put on an impressively brave face throughout her pregnancy, and has endured a miscarriage scare as well as a ton of negative publicity.

Here, though, it appears to pressure is getting to her.

“We're never going to fall apart,” Kris warns, but it looks like she has her hands full trying to keep it together as problems extend way beyond Kim.
