Move over, Kate Middleton. Kendra Spears is going from the runway to royalty.
The 24-year old model is engaged! To a prince!
In a press release Friday, Aga Khan - the Imam of the global community of the Shia Ismaili Muslims, who resides in France - announced that his son, Rahim Aga Khan, asked the beauty to be his wife.
Tweeted Spears shortly afterward: "Thank you all for the kind tweets! We're very excited!"
Spears is a native of Seattle. She won a Ford Models competition in 2008 and has since posted in publications such as Vogue and Elle, while also starring in campaigns for Diane von Furstenberg, Calvin Klein, and Emporio Armani.
Prince Rahim Aga Khan, 41, is a graduate of Brown University.
According to the release, he's involved in "poverty reduction efforts, notably micro-credit activities" in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
We send this couple our very best!
