A dozen people have been wounded in a stabbing attack at Houston-area college campus, according to reports, while one suspect is now in custody.

Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department spokesman Robert Rasa says 12 people were taken to hospitals after the attack on Lone Star C.C.’s Cypress campus.

Both agencies say at least four of those injured were seriously hurt, and LifeFlighted in critical condition, while several patients refused treatment at the scene.

All wounds were consistent with stabbing.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Thomas Gilliland says police don’t believe a second suspect was involved, despite previous reports of two suspects.
