Justin Bieber is once again in the news for drugs.

But he has not been snapped smoking pot again.

In a Tweet yesterday, the 19-year old singer expressed support for Russell Simmons, who has penned a letter to President Obama in which he urged to Commander-in-Chief for “more creative criminal justice reform.”

Simmons believes the “enforcement-only” War on Drugs has been a failure and wants the administration to continue with “efforts to revamp the policies of the last 30 years that have seen the prison population skyrocket.”

And Bieber is on board. He Tweeted last night:

“shoutout to @UncleRUSH . gotta support him to #EndTheWarOnDrugs and show that we the youth have a voice. hashtag and support the cause.”

Others who are also behind the music producer’s missive include such stars as Will Smith, Jon Hamm, the Kardashians, Kris Jenner, Russell Brand, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Demi Moore, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Longoria, Scarlett Johansson, Woody Harrelson, Jamie Foxx, Jim Carrey and Kerry Washington.
