Vivid Entertainment recently acquired the rights to the Farrah Abraham sex tape, and Steve Hirsch could not be more excited about his new XXX purchase.
He immediately drew parallels to a sex tape legend, as well.
"I'm happy to confirm we have purchased it," he said of Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, which he sought "as vigorously as any sex tape we've ever pursued."
"We felt it was worth it, not only because of Farrah’s popularity, but because the footage itself is amazing. I think many fans will be shocked at how truly explicit it is."
"Farrah is gorgeous, sexy and absolutely uninhibited. Farrah's looks remind me of a young Kim Kardashian and we all know how her story turned out."
Indeed, the Kim Kardashian sex tape was huge. It still is.
Heck, even her less-famous co-star is cashing in on it seven years later. If you haven't seen the Ray J "I Hit it First" music video, you are missing out.
Anyway, back to Farrah, the Teen Mom star banked nearly $1 million, which is less than half of what she publicly said she wanted, but is still a huge payday.
Abraham initially tried to portray the sex video as "leaked," when it was really just a straight-up porno co-starring the current It Boy of porn, James Deen.
She then hilariously tried to claim the sex tape was just for her personal use, and that, "When I'm older, I'll have my best year to look back on."
Nevertheless, despite James' unwillingness to go along with her scheme and the fact that a lot of people haven't even heard of her, Vivid paid big bucks.
Was it worth it? Only time, and sales, will tell.
