The Houston Astros will open the season this Sunday, making their first appearance as an American League team after switching from the National League during the offseason.

While the switch allows them an extra hitter in the form of a DH, nobody expects that to matter. Why? Because the Astros have the lowest salary in baseball.

Their salary is so low, in fact, that injured third baseman Alex Rodriguez is making more than the entire team in Houston! And he may not even see the field this year! Yikes!

Earlier in the week he learned that his job may be in jeopardy, and that the Network has talked to Anderson Cooper about taking over The Today Show.

Now he has to deal with some Twitter haters!

Local Fox reporter Mark Zinni, who used to intern under Lauer, RT'd someone quoting him about his time at Today, including that Lauer was "not so nice."

Lil Twist made himself very much at home inside Justin Bieber's mansion last week, a new report claims.

The rapper - who recently totaled his friend's car and who many believe is bringing Bieber down - invited 40 girls and a few guys to Justin's Calabasas home on March 19 when the artist was off touring Europe.

According to TMZ, the bash included a hookah pipe, dozens of beer bottles and plenty of hard alcohol.

This is just not Scott Disick's week.

First, Michael Girgenti came out and claimed he may be the father of presumed son Mason because he totally boned Kourtney Kardashian about nine months before the child was born.

Now, following a hunting incident on last Sunday's episode of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, the reality star has been accused of.... MURDER!

Disick shot an alligator in the face on that installment and, in response, a representative from the nonprofit organization International Reptile Rescue has spoken out on the incident.

Richard Griffiths, the British actor know for his role as Vernon Dursley in the Harry Potter movies, has died at age 65.

The actor died in the hospital due to complications following heart surgery.

Potter's Daniel Radcliffe told the BBC, "Richard was by my side during two of the most important moments of my career. I was proud to know him. Any room he walked into was made twice as funny and twice as clever just by his presence."

Lindsay Lohan might not be getting along so well these days with the crew of Anger Management, but the ridiculously troubled actress has apparently found at least one person who can tolerate her presence:

Apparently.

Sources claim to The New York Post, that Lohan and Stewart "met through one of Lindsay’s friends who also knows Kristen."

Stewart reportedly invited LiLo to her house last week "and they hung out with Robert Pattinson, who was back from filming in Australia.”

Getting one's wisdom teeth pulled.

It may cause pain for the patient, but - my, oh my! - how it can lead to hilarity for everyone else.

In what must be considered one of the greatest viral videos in human history, the young woman in the following footage just got her teeth taken out... and she can barely stand to look at the victims in her hand.

"I deserve the pain. I took lives," a bawling Abbie Kritz says. "They were just trying to help me chew. And I didn't accept them."
