Lindsay Lohan: Still Figuring Out Rehab Plans

by at .

As debate swirls over what constitutes "lock down rehab," Lindsay Lohan is still figuring out when and where to seek treatment, according to her attorney.

Lo Point

Contrary to reports that she's looking to get help in New York - where no facilities exist that keep a patient from leaving - Mark Heller says no plan is in place.

"We haven't figured it out yet," the lawyer says. "We are working on that now. We are considering whether it will be in New York. We are not sure yet."

Lohan is planning to shoot a guest appearance on pal Charlie Sheen's Anger Management next week, and actually has until May 2 to check into rehab.

LiLo must get treatment following convictions for lying to police and reckless driving, stemming from a car crash en route to the Liz & Dick set in 2012.

In addition to a 90-day stay in locked rehab - in lieu of the jail time she'd otherwise do - Lindsay Lohan's plea deal comes with other stipulations:

  • 30 days of community labor
  • 18 months of psychotherapy
  • 2 more years of probation
  • Fines and restitution

What do you think? A fair punishment?

What idiots some judges are!!! The details shouldn't be up to her or her attorney. The judge should have stipulated the exact details, should have made it immediate and should have had her taken there by the police. You and I would never get this leniency, and it's putting her life at risk because she's too dumb to learn from her own mistakes and keeps repeating them over and over again.

Interesting that the NY court system lets the defendant and her lawyer figure out where she will or won't go for rehab. Why doesn't the court find one and send her there?
