Earlier this week, a report surfaced that producers of the annual musical extravaganza insisted that stars not wear revealing clothes Sunday night.
In response, Marx dropped this gem: "'Risque' clothing banned at Grammys but guys who beat up women? Come ooonnn downnnnn.... #goodcallgrammys"
Who knew Marx - a soft rock KING in the 1980s - had such strong opinions on Chris Brown? Or a dry sense of humor? Or a Twitter account (@richardmarx)?

What Chris Brown did 4 yrs ago no longer matters. Can't you haters see that? He's not an idol but a HUMAN BEING THAT MADE A MISTAKE WHEN HE WAS 19 YEARS OLD. He's not a disgrace to his race and never will be. I think that because of his race (in most instances of people not letting this go) is because he is black. Did you all conveniently forget about the past of Charlie Sheen (past and more recent than Chris), Sean Penn (tied his then wife MADONNA to a chair and beat her with a BAT!), Sean Connery and many more celebrities that have done much worse to women and they were ADULTS and still went on to win OSCARS AND GRAMMYS. If you plan on crucifying Chris brown for the rest of your lives, bring ALL OF THOSE CELEBRITIES CONVICTIONS BACK INTO THE LIGHT! Until then, MOST OF you are just racist!
