It's Kate Upton's Mercedes Super Bowl ad too hot for TV?
The Parents Television Council (PTC) sure thinks so.
"This ad [reinforces] for millions of wives, daughters and sisters across the country that you use your sex appeal to get what you want," a spokeswoman for the group said.
Sex appeal to sell cars? It's a stunning concept, we know.
"If anything, this proves that we’ve regressed rather than progressed over the last several years," the group says, despite the fact that the ad is merely a tease.
Despite the title, and her maybe being the most perfect woman ever created on Earth, at no point is Kate Upton nude or even actually washing the car.
Trust us, we watched it like three times. Give or take 10.
Appropriate or not, many fans on Mercedes' YouTube and Facebook pages seem to be unimpressed, calling the ad low-brow or dumb or even porn.
