This hoax – intended to send SWAT team members and other special law enforcement officials to a residence – was perpetrated Friday night against everyone’s least favorite family, as the Los Angels County Sheriff’s department responded to a 911 call that reported an emergency at the Kardashians.

None was taking place, however, with Kim Kardashian referring to the scheme as “dangerous” on Twitter and adding:

“These prank calls are NOT funny!”

For once in her life, Kim is right.

Authorities are looking into many other similar cases over recent weeks – one took place last week, for example, at Tom Cruise’s house – with authorities looking to make this sort of hoax into  felony.

Last month, a boy was arrested after the cops said he calls that reported violence at the homes of Justin Bieber and Ashton Kutcher.
