James Yeager, CEO of Tactical Response, a Tennessee company that trains people in weapon and tactical skills, is not too happy at the moment.
Why? He claims in a video (below) that he's about ready to "start killing people" if President Barack Obama tries to pass further gun control policies:
In a frenetic address to the camera, Yeager calls on other gun rights advocates to "load your damn mags" and "get ready to fight" against gun control.
In the wake of V.P. Joe Biden indicating that Obama was exploring using executive orders to address gun policy, Yeager predicts a "civil war" is nigh.
Yeager accuses of Obama of being a "dictator" for considering taking action without Congress following the massacre in Newtown, Conn. last month.
It's not clear if Obama, who instituted a task force lead by Biden to come up with policy proposals to deal with gun violence, will do this, however.
An executive order to ban assault weapons has been talked about, but that's about it; no concrete proposals or actions have been taken as of yet.
The White House is considering more expansive measures to tackle gun violence than simply a ban on assault weapons and large magazines, though.
Biden's group will consider initiatives such as a national database to track sale and movement of weapons and universal background checks for gun buyers.
He cites broad support for these ideas, but as expected, the backlash from dissenters has been swift; Yeager isn't the first gun advocate to voice opposition.
Monday, conservative radio host Alex Jones and gun control advocate Piers Morgan had an epic "debate" (if you can call it that) on the latter's CNN show.
Jones started that "1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms! Doesn't matter how many lemmings you get out there on the street."
"We will not relinquish them. Do you understand?!"
James Yeager recently edited the video he put on YouTube to not include his threat to "start killing people," but the original version appears below.
What do you think? More gun control?
