Chris Brown has made his Instagram account private in the wake of Sunday’s parking lot fight with Frank Ocean and the latter’s desire to press charges.

Normally, one would simply turn to Brown’s photo sharing handle (the classy “fuckyopictures”) for some insight, but Chris is apparently dialing it back.

“Social media takes away the essence of why we are even special or icons. So with that, I’m detaching myself from that world,” Brown posted yesterday.

Then he made his Instagram private. Shocking, we know.

His withdrawal from the social media platform comes a day after the Chris Brown Jesus photo, in which he posted his painting of Christ on the cross.

“Painting the way I feel today. Focus on what matters!” Brown captioned it.

The R&B star, who is now sporting a cast on his hand, has not commented on the Ocean fight other than that, though his attorney says he did nothing wrong.

How long will it be before Chris makes his Instagram public again? Did he really throw the first punch, as Frank contends, or is Breezy being scapegoated?

Only time, and your comments, will tell.
