Toni Braxton in Hospital With Lupus Complications

Singer Toni Braxton is in the hospital in Los Angeles because of lupus.

Friday, she Tweeted herself that she'd been hospitalized because of "minor health issues" related to lupus. A spokeswoman confirmed this but offered no details.

"But no worries!" Braxton wrote to fans. "I will be out any day now."

The 45-year-old Grammy winner revealed two years ago she has lupus, a potentially deadly autoimmune disease that runs in her family and killed Braxton's uncle.

She also is said to suffer from a narrowing of the blood vessels in her heart.

Toni said in a recent interview that the lupus diagnosis meant her performing career would likely be diminished and the disease helped push her into a recent bankruptcy.

Braxton filed for bankruptcy in 2011 and has serious financial problems.

We wish her a full and speedy recovery and a return to good health.

    You make a fool of yourself Baja. Lupus IS a very serious illness and not herpes! My husband has been battling Lupus for almost 13 years now. Before you speak your ignorance, try educating yourself first, otherwise keep your "ghetto" comments to yourself.
