The X Factor Top 6 performed two songs apiece on last night's episode, one unplugged performance and one track chosen by America. How did they do?

By and large, the unplugged efforts were pretty decent, America's choices left something to be desired, and Khloe Kardashian really needs to be fired.

Let's break down the performers, from top to bottom ...

1. Carly Rose Sonenclar - "As Long as You Love Me" (Unplugged) and "If I Were a Boy" (America's Choice)

Carly Rose was spot-on throughout her unplugged performance, and probably delivered the best version of America's picks as well, paying homage to Beyonce.

Kelly Clarkson on SNL

Rih was blanked in the major categories, but did earn nominations for pop solo performance, rap-sung collaboration and short-form music video (for "We Found Love").

Bieber and One Direction were shut out altogether.

Taylor Swift's hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" is up for Record of the Year; her new album, Red, won't be eligible as a whole until 2014.

U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is making headlines for an unusual reason.

Last month, he was widely mocked for saying he wasn't sure of the age of the Earth. On Wednesday, he assured the public that he does, in fact, know the Earth's age.

It's about 4.5 billion years old, he says, and more significantly, the 41-year-old Miami native doesn't think that fact is inconsistent with his Roman Catholic faith.

"There is no scientific debate on the age of the Earth, it's established pretty definitively, it's at least 4.5 billion years old," he told Politico's Mike Allen Wednesday.

"I was referring to a theological debate."

Victoria's Secret models can be an interesting bunch.

So we learned thanks to this hilarious video, the latest "Sh*t [People] Say" parody, where fallen angel Angelique goes on the record with what is really said backstage.

Basically, Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012 angels just sit around making fun of us commoners, eating junk food, taking "selfies" and inhaling a lot of fumes.

Models. They're so relatable!

A rep for Eminem says the rapper's daughter, 16-year old Hailie Mathers, did NOT slam Taylor Swift as a very promiscuous young woman today, following a series of Tweets attributed to the teenager.

Amidst rumors of Swift dating Harry Styles, Twitter was abuzz a few hours ago over the following words posted by @hailiejade_x:

"If Taylor Swift is really dating the love of my life Harry Styles I will not be happy... Dear Taylor Swift, please stop whoring around with every guy you see. We all know you're only doing it so you can make another album."

Following major backlash from T. Swizzle supporters, the user wrote "Wow, I didn't mean for people to react to my tweet in the way that they have it was just a bit of fun! Sorry Taylor Swift for my immaturity."

But Eminem's rep tells E! News that Mathers was never behind the insults and the account has since been deleted.

Good, we say. Good riddance!

The Voice results show cut two more singers Tuesday, with Cassadee Pope, Terry McDermott, Trevin Hunte and Nicholas David advancing to next week's semifinals.

Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown's elimination last night sparked a fair amount of controversy, but that just speaks to the overall talent level of the Season 3 field.

Heading into the final four, any one of the remaining singers could win this thing.

Voice Top 4

Will it be Cassadee, who looks, acts and sounds the part of the next great pop star? Or Terry, who could seamlessly step in and front any rock band in America?

Or will it be Nicholas, a Minnesota soul man and modern day Barry White? Or Trevin, whose stirring ballads evoke memories of legends such as Whitney Houston?

You tell us: Who should win The Voice Season 3?

Sean Lowe has finished filming The Bachelor, and he is in engaged.

Until we learn officially who it is (see The Bachelor spoilers to find out who we think it is), he'll be traveling around the U.S. doing PR and looking way better than you.

Reason #3948730 why Jay Z is boss: a video has surfaced of HOV making friends with an elderly woman on the NYC subway.

Mr. Carter was riding the subway to his final performance at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, when he chose a seat next to 67-year old Ellen Grossman.

Obviously taking note of the legions of screaming fans on the train and massive bodyguards, the unknowing Grossman asks Jay if he's famous. Adorableness ensues:

The Washington Post interviewed Grossman interviewed Grossman about her experience meeting the music megastar. The clip is part of a 24-minute documentary called "Where I'm From" about Jay Z's series of Barclays concerts.
