He may have fallen out of favor in New York, but Tim Tebow has a major fan in Hollywood.

With the quarterback receiving flak for the rumor last week that he refused to take the field for the Jets - a rumor Tebow shot down yesterday - Josh Duhamel has come out in support of the former Heisman winner.

ESPN analyst Merril Hoge has been especially harsh toward Tebow, recently saying he's as "phony as a three-dollar bill" and asking fans in Denver if they care any more that he no longer plays in that city.

In response to that final question, Duhamel unleased on Twitter.

Frances Bean Cobain actually acknowledged Courtney Love this week.

On Christmas, Love reached out to Cobain, 20, with a cheery holiday message: "Merry Christmas Bean!! love you more than you could ever know. xmamma."

Later in the day, she replied, Tweeting "merry christmas kooksmcgee."

The first "alien Earth" planet is likely to be spotted next year, according to astronomers.

An epic discovery that would cause humanity to reassess its place in the universe, the feat is believed to be possible, even likely, by scientists in 2013.

Researchers have honed in on a number of exoplanets in recent years that share key traits with our own world, such as size or inferred surface temperature.

They have yet to bag a bona fide "alien Earth." But just wait, scientists say.

Jiroemon Kimura is the world's oldest man ... ever. He was born in 1897!

The 115-year-old recently became the oldest living human after the death of Dina Manfredini. Now he's also officially the oldest man who has ever lived.

The former postal employee has 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. He lives with his son's family near Kyoto, Japan.

The previous holder of the title of oldest man ever was Christian Mortensen, a Danish-American, who lived 115 years and 252 days before dying in 1998.

From strippers to pajamas, Miley Cyrus has been giving fans a glimpse of two very different sides of her personality to close out 2012.

The singer slapped the butt of a stripper in celebration of her birthday this year, while also posting excitedly about the gift of a blow-up doll.

But she also posed adorably with Liam Hemsworth for Christmas, and is doing the same below with her sister and her dog... while wearing a onesie!

Perhaps the best example of Miley's split personality? Her cute side and her edgy persona?

The canine pictured above is named Mary Jane. HA! Google the meaning behind that moniker, kids.

Fontella Bass, the singer most famous for her huge 1965 hit "Rescue Me," has died. She passed away Wednesday in Missouri at the age of 72.

According to Bass' family, the singer passed away in a St. Louis hospital from complications Fontella suffered following a heart attack three weeks ago.

Bass also had several strokes since 2005.

The R&B star scored a ton of hits over her decades-long career, including "You'll Miss Me (When I'm Gone)" and "Don't Mess Up a Good Thing". R.I.P.

David Letterman thinks Jay Leno is an absolutely hilarious dude.

Yes, there's a huge BUT coming at the end of that statement.

In a sit down interview on Oprah: The Next Chapter, Dave discusses with longtime frenemy Winfrey his history with and feelings about Leno candidly.

"We were always friends before all of this happened," Letterman says in a preview clip of their interview airing January 6, referring to the Conan debacle.

"He's an unusual fellow. I've never met anyone quite like Jay. And I will say - I'm happy to say - that I think he is the funniest guy I've ever known."

Jay-Z's wife and the couple's 11-month-old baby girl appear to be on a yacht, with the 31-year-old mom leaning in for a kiss from her adorable daughter.

In another sweet shot, Beyonce shared a photo of Blue's foot.

1. The littlest Carter must've been spoiled rotten by Jay on Christmas.
