Good for Mark, may he be an inspiring role model for older rich people to get off their assets and give back to a needful and deserving World.

So generous...no wait it's called a tax write off....rich people do this all the time to avoid taxes...

@ Brian

Don't embarrass yourself, Brain. Donating to charites doesn't help the rich "avoid taxes." They simply don't pay taxes on the amount they donated. (OAnd why should they?) But since he would have only have to give about $175 million of that to the IRS, it mean his ACTUAL loss was still $325 million...out of pocket.

Don't blame the rich because you are a life failure who is literally a burden to society, meaning the world would rather you be dead than exist. ESPECALLY your mother who is embarrassed to have even given birth to you

thanks for that!

Its nice, sure, but not how he got to where he is to be able to give that money. Most of the richest people wouldn't be rich if they had proper ethics, they are sharks that eat up anyone they can, like Microsoft.

Oh, Mark started making it big by selling your personal information you thought was private. What a wonderful person.

The richest man in the world, steals from US organizations meant to help the poor, and hes Mexican! Name a rich man and I can give you reasons they deserve to be in prison more so than any Heroin smuggler.

So...in your pathetic, suicidal world, you can just make stuff up and claim it as a fact? Facebook has NEVER taken a single piece of personal information from you that you didn't EXPLICITLY give it. And they were always up front about it. Meanwhile...Google, who I am sure you LOVE...takes every piece of personal information on you they can get...even if you aren't ON THEIR SITE. And they sell it to FAR more people than Facebook. So much so that they are worth a third of a TRILLION dollars

Great to always hear about huge donations. As the article states, he can afford it plus more. Wish I had tons of money so I could donate, but unfortunately I am not in that position.
