George W. Bush's daughter, Jenna Bush Hager, is pregnant!
The former president's grandson or granddaughter will be his first; Jenna Bush married Henry Hager in 2008, while her twin sister Barbara has yet to wed.
Jenna revealed her big news this morning on NBC's Today.
"I'm pregnant!" she tearfully told Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie. "We're so excited and obviously nervous. I'm a first-time mom. But it's something that I've always wanted."
"I'm a teacher and I love kids ... It's a springtime baby."
Hager joined his wife and gave her a floral bouquet, and President Bush and former First Lady joined the chat via phone. "I'm thrilled!" Laura Bush cooed.
"I'm fired up!" added Dubya.
Jenna, 31, was recently named Editor-at-Large at Southern Living magazine. No doubt that today's news will be even more exciting for our 43rd Commander-in-Chief.
"I'm a little disappointed it hasn't happened yet," George W. Bush, 66, joked last year about grandkids.
"But the more disappointment I show, the less likely it is to happen on the timetable I want."
Congratulations to Jenna and the former First Family!
